Causative

CAUSATIVE

Causative is order someone to do something. In this case we use has, have and get. There are 2 pattern of causative :

TENSES ACTIVE FORM PASSIVE FORM
Simple Present • S + has/have + doer + infinitive without to + O
• S + get + doer + infinitive with to + O • S + has/have/get + O + VIII
Simple Past • S + had + doer + infinitive without to + O
• S + got + doer + infinitive with to + O • S + had/got + O + VIII
Simple Future • S + will + have + doer + infinitive without to + O
• S + will + get + doer + infinitive with to + O • S + will + have/get + O + VIII

Example :
Simple Present
She irons her clothes.
Active : She has Banu iron her clothes.
She gets Banu to iron her clothes.
Passive : She has her clothes ironed.
She gets her clothes ironed.
